Great family film, or would be a good first date film. Enjoyed watching it with my other half, and look forward seeing it again. Will be one of those classic Christmas feel good films. Very funny but still warms the heart.

Disagreeing with all of the other reviewers on this page, I think this film is a load of rubbish! Elf is described as a children's Christmas favourite but I am a child and I can tell you, it is certainly not one of my favourites! Will Ferrell lets himself down in this stupid excuse for a film! Definitely a waste of money. time and space! I am praying that there is not a sequel!

Absolutely fantastic! A great watch for kids and even adults. Only wish I had recorded it.

Will Ferrel is a comedy genius and makes this film superb. A great christmas movie that you can watch all year round.
