The Great Raid

An American colonel(Benjamin Bratt) leads a platoon of GIs and Filipino resistance fighters to liberate 500 Allied PoWs from a Japanese prison camp during World War II. Director John Dahl conveys the importance of the Filipino contribution to the daring mission helped by an all-star cast including Connie Nielsen and Joseph Fiennes.
