All the volcanoes around the Pacific are about to blow up and it's up to super scientist Jake Rollins (Luke Perry) to take a giant drill into the Earth's crust and set off a nuclear explosion to relieve the pressure. It's a direct rip-off from the non-too-great big-screen thriller The Core. But where that was merely bad, this is truly awful - even the special effects look as though they could have been done better by a 12-year old with a Lego set. The only redeeming feature is Perry's performance, which deserves to be in something far better than this.
