Flightplan
Soon after taking off on board a jumbo jet, a sleepy Jodie Foster awakens to discover her child is missing and, worse still, nobody believes she ever existed. Keep your landing gear down for a psychological thriller where all the dials read 'Hitchcock' ('The Baby Vanishes'...?). Pilot Sean Bean makes an admirable effort to keep things under control.
Incredible movie, and yet another outstanding performance from Jodie Foster! It's one of those films when you think you know exactly what's going on, but then something else is added to change the direction. Keeps you watching however!

This left me scratching my head. The film's story is too unbelieveable and over the top. It is also hard to make sense of some of it until the end, when you realise what has happened! Jodie Foster is her usual committed self, but goes overboard on the acting front.
