The Cesar-nominated actress is a veteran of more than 70 French films in almost 40 years.
Highlights include La Vallee and The Discreet Charm of the Bouegeoise in 1972, The Third Generation in 1979 and Somewhere in the City in 1998.
She was nominated for a Cesar (French Oscar) for the comedy Venus Beauty Institute alongside Nathalie Baye in 1999.
Ogier was also awarded the special prize at the Locarno Film Festival for the 1994 comedy drama Personne ne m'aime.
Recent work included the Merchant-Ivory produced farce Merci Dr Rey with Jane Birkin and Dianne Wiest.
