Pascal Bonitzer

Known as one of France's most prolific screenwriters, Bonitzer also enjoys parallel careers as both actor and director.
As as scriptwriter, he has almost forty titles under his belt, including Ma Saison Preferee, which garnered him a best writing Cesar nomination.
His directorial debut, the romantic comedy Encore, was nominated for a Golden Berlin Bear award.
Bonitzer was editor of the film magazine Cahiers du Cinema from 1969-1985 and also worked on another publication, Traffic.
He also worked as director of the Paris film school FEMIS.
His second directorial effort - Rien Sur Robert - drew mixed reviews but attracted interest at the 1999 Berlin Film Festival.
Recent work includes the romantic drama Petites Coupures with Daniel Auteuil and Kristin Scott Thomas.
