Colm Meaney

The Irish actor is probably best known for his role as Chief Operating Officer Miles O'Brien in the TV series Star Trek.
After acting in the Focus Company alongside Stephen Rea and Gabriel Byrne, Meaney's feature film debut was John Huston's The Dead.
Subsequent supporting roles included a cop in Dick Tracy, a pilot in Die Hard 2 and Jimmy Rabbitte Sr in Alan Parker's The Commitments.
A regular film actor, subsequent appearances included Far and Away, The Last of the Mohicans and Under Siege.
He also appeared in The Road to Wellville, The Van, Con Air and The Snapper, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination.
Recent work includes How Harry Became A Tree, for which he won a best actor award at the Newport Beach Film Festival and the Irish drama Intermission.
