Jason Flemyng

The former social worker regularly lands roles in succesful homegrown product as well as enjoying the occasional foray into Hollywood.
British cinema includes appearances in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Mean Machine.
His most high profile role has been the character of Jeckyll and Hyde in the European-US big budget League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Flemyng also appeared in Rock Star opposite Mark Wahlberg and Jack The Ripper yarn From Hell with Johnny Depp.
After graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, stage parts with the RSC eventually led to TV work, including a featured role in the US series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
Flemyng's film debut came in 1994 in Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book and a part in Rob Roy allowed him to fulfil a lifelong ambition of working with Tim Roth.
In 1996 he received the Venice Film Festival Best Actor Award for Indian Aummer for his portrayal of a dancer facing death.
He followed this up with a lacklustre British take on Western classic The James Gang and also appeared in Spice World with the Spice Girls.
In 1998 the call came from Guy Ritchie for Lock, Stock and he went on to star in the director's follow-up Snatch.
Subsequent roles included the lead singer of the Brit heavy metal band Steel Dragon in Rock Star and the coachman in From Hell.
He starred in the British horror flick The Bunker and teamed up with Lock, Stock co-star Vinnie Jones for Mean Machine.
Flemyng's next high profile role was opposite Sean Connery in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Upcoming projects include Flemyng utilising his fluency in French for Le Retour de James Bataille with Vanessa Paradis.
