A tough television reporter opens up a whole closetful of skeletons when he investigates the disappearance of Peggy Lynn Brady, star anchorwoman of a major network news programme. Kevin Dobson (once Kojak's sidekick, Crocker) obviously took a leaf out of his old boss's book and created a fast-talking, wisecracking journalist for the central role in this made-for-television mystery. There's nothing here you haven't seen before but all the familiar elements have been mixed into good order to make reassuringly old-fashioned entertainment.
