Gérard Depardieu goes way over the top in this one-joke comedy (the US version of his French frolic), about a divorced dad who takes his 14-year-old daughter (Katherine Heigl) for a Bahamas holiday. Fancying all-American beach boy (Dalton James), the girl declares Depardieu to be her lover. Awkward, often embarrassing misunderstandings follow for the next hour, before the film livens up a bit towards the end as father and daughter gang up to net her the hunk.
