That tried, tested and often tedious TV tradition, the 'true-life' TV movie, gets the spoof treatment. A constellation of TV movie stars, led by Morgan Fairchild, Dyan Cannon, Victoria Jackson and Ricki Lake, enters into the dubious fun, which revolves round Satin Chau (Fairchild), a top perfume creator about to lose her sense of smell unless she has an urgent nose-job. Various sub-plots involve her search for her long-lost sisters, and a serial killer tracking down terrified topless dancers. Daft? Definitely. Funny? Infrequently.
