Tim McInnerny

Born: Cheadle, Cheshire

British actor Tim is best known as a host of hilarious characters in the classic comedy series Blackadder.

He played Lord Percy Percy, Capt. Kevin Darling and Archdeacon Darling in all the series, but throughout his lucrative TV career he has also succeeded in breaking into film.

In David Hare's Whetherby in 1995 Tim starred opposite Vanessa Redgrave, Ian Holm and Judi Dench, and almost a decade later he played opposite Sir Ian McKellan on the screen adaptation of Richard III.

It was the family film 101 Dalmatians and its sequel, that reminded British audiences of his dramatic presence and brought him to the attention of American cinema-goers.

More recently Tim has starred in The Emperor's New Clothes, once again opposite Ian Holm, and in British film Hit Dog.
