Southern California looks gorgeous in this good-and-bad twin comedy-fantasy, but the flashback-laden plot is all over the place. Andy Garcia plays both good twin Ruben and bad twin Robert, battling over the ranch left to them by their adoptive mother. Then a car dealer with heart, an evil mobster and many others get involved. But you just know that justice will prevail in the end. Garcia nobly does what he can with the dual role, while Alan Arkin is rather good as the car dealer.
