Loosely based on an imaginary relationship between Iggy Pop and David Bowie, this has an up-and-coming rock star (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) seducing his idol (Ewan McGregor), becoming the world's most important musician and then vanishing into obscurity. There are constant references to Oscar Wilde that don't work, a lot of glam-rock in-jokes that will please fans and some excellent music. McGregor impresses and Meyers and Toni Collette work up a storm as the star and his wife.
