Ulrich Thomsen

The actor first attracted attention in Thomas Vinterberg's controversial Festen - The Celebration.
Subsequent roles included Davidow, the Russian security chief in Bond adventure The World Is Not Enough and Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven.
A graduate of the Danish National School of Theatre, Thomsen made his big screen debut as a violent rocker in the orginal Danish version of Nightwatch.
His first major leading role was in Vinterberg's The Greatest Heroes, which earned him a Danish Academy Award.
After Festen, other roles include Thomas Jensen's Oscar-winning short Election Night, The World Is Not Enough and Kathryn Bigelow's thriller The Weight of Water.
In 2001, he starred in the German art house hit Mostly Martha and followed it with the Englsih comedy Mike Bassett: England Manager.
The following year he appeared alongside Joseph Fiennes and Heather Graham in the thriller Killing Me Softly and went on to star with John Cusak in Max.
In 2003, he starred as Christoffer in Per Fly's social commentary Inheritance.
Recent work includes the domestic drama Brothers with Connie Nielsen.
