The director made his big screen debut with the animated adventure fantasy Quest For Camelot in 1998.
Voice talent for the film included pop star Andrea Corr, singer Celine Dion, Pierce Brosnan and Gary Oldman.
Du Chau began his career as an animator, working on The Land Before Time III and as a storyboard artist for Road Runner creator Chuck Jones.
"I’m the kind of director that doesn’t hide. I don’t have a big secret, or a big sort-of like, ‘Ooh, I’m an artist.’ I am very open."
In 2004, he directed the animatronic children's yarn Racing Stripes about a zebra who thinks he's a racehorse.
