Air traffic controller wiz John Cusack finds himself with a rival in strong, silent Billy Bob Thornton. Though married to Cate Blanchett, Cusack is soon being invited into the bed of Thornton's moody wife Angelina Jolie. This offbeat black comedy starts promisingly but soon gets silly, banking away from the on-the-edge work of air traffic controllers and landing in a story of unconvincing inter-marital capers. Thornton (with four former marriages) and Jolie (previously married to Johnny Lee Miler) met on the set, married in 2000 and divorced in 2003.
