Another tale of adultery, not written or performed with enough depth to involve us in its outcome. Pearl (Diane Lane) takes her kids on holiday to a camp in the Catskills, leaving her husband behind. It's 1969 and everyone is excited at the prospect of a Moon landing. Pearl's excited too - by the attentions of the camp's new 'blouse man' (Viggo Mortensen) who brings both fashions and flattery to the Jewish matrons on vacation. Soon consumed with desire for the handsome stranger, Pearl embarks on an affair that endangers her whole family. No surprises: dull.
