Adam Garcia
Born: June 1, 1973 Where: Sydney, Australia
Young handsome and Australian, Adam Garcia is currently one of Hollywood's most wanted.
Growing up in Sydney, most of his friends were enjoying the outdoor life whilst he slogged away at the Capital Dance Studio.
He had been dancing all the way through school - Baz Luhrmann directed him in a tap dance on the steps of the town hall in Sydney as a teenager.
Adam co-founded the Australian dance troupe Dein Perry's All Tap Company and decided to pursue his hobby as a professional career.
After the obligatory one-off appearance in Home And Away, Adam toured Australia with the stage musical Hot Shoe Shuffle and then moved to Britain to play Doody in a West End production of Grease.
Now truly settled in this country, in 1996 Adam co-presented the British children's TV programme Boiled Eggs and Soldiers and then secured a role on the Sky One football drama series Dream Team.
Adam brought himself right to the forefront of the London theatre-going public's attention with his starring role in the West End production of Saturday Night Fever.
Following that Adam starred in his first US feature film Coyote Ugly which did surprisingly well at the box office and led to the beginnings of a Hollywood career.
