Fun but flimsy comedy co-written by The Larry Sanders Show's Gary Shandling, who also stars as an alien from an all-male planet sent to Earth to reproduce so that his planet can rule the universe. Ok, so it's a daft plot and more could have been made of the fish-out-of-water humour, but Shandling makes a sweet alien as he tries out his sexist chat-up lines before finding his dream woman (Annette Bening). Ben Kingsley, John Goodman, Linda Fiorentino and Greg Kinnear offer amusing support.
