There are almost as many close-ups of faces (and legs) as in a Sergio Leone western in this not uninteresting but somewhat pretentious frenetic French thriller, from the young director of Boy Meets Girl. Michel Piccoli lends his worldly-wise presence to the story of the attempted theft of the antidote to a mysterious, AIDS-like disease.
