Isla Fisher

The Australian actress is best known for the role of Gloria Cleary opposite Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers.
She is also the partner of arch parodist Sacha Baron Cohen of Borat and Ali G infamy.
Born in the Middle East to Scottish parents (she is named after the Scottish island of Islay), she moved to Perth, Western Australia when just nine months old.
She began appearing in commercials on Australian television at the age of nine, before going on to win roles in popular childrens' television shows Bay City and Paradise Beach.
At the age of eighteen, with the help of her romantic novelist mother, she wrote two teen novels -Bewitched and Seduced by Fame - that became bestsellers.
From 1994 to 1997 she played the role of Shannon Reed on the hit Aussie soap Home and Away before enrolling at theatre school in Paris.
She also toured with onetime fiance Darren Day in the Summer Holiday musical, and appeared in the London theatre production Cosi.
She made her big screen debut in the independent thriller Out of Depth before landing the role of Mary Jane, Shaggy's love interest, in the 2002 big screen adaptation of Scooby Doo.
Two years later she appeared in the offbeat comedy I Heart Huckabees and landed a larger role in Wedding Crashers in 2005, which won her the Breakthrough Performance Award at the MTV Movie Awards.
In 2006, Fisher starred as Becca, a Manhattan party host in the offbeat relationship drama London alongside Jessica Biel, Chris Evans and Jason Statham.
Recent work includes the romantic comedy Wedding Daze opposite Jason Biggs.
She lives in Los Angeles, as well as London, with her fiancé, English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen.
