The Heroes Season
From now until the end of May, we're celebrating heroes across 22 channels on Sky. So from April 1st to May 18th, you can enjoy hundreds of heroic figures, from music legends like David Bowie on The Biography Channel, to acting legends like Jack Nicholson in The Departed on Sky Movies.There are many heroes on Sky, be they sporting legends or movie icons.
And during the six weeks of our Hero Season, you can enjoy over 160 purposely scheduled programmes across 22 channels including:
Meanwhile, Sky Movies has a fantastic six-week season packed with great cinematic heroes.
It all kicks off with The Definitive Mafia Season from March 31st to April 13th, with stars including Marlon Brando and Al Pacino in The Godfather and Robert de Niro in Casino.
From April 14th - 27th, the Hollywood Heroes join the fray including Tom Hanks, Steve McQueen and Nicolas Cage.
Topping it all off is Great British Acting Heroes, a fantastic two-week season that starts on April 28th with nightly double-bills featuring some of British cinema's best known names.
There's Michael Caine in Zulu and Alfie, Clive Owen in Children of Men and Dame Judi Dench in Casino Royale, with the likes of Sean Connery, Kate Winslet, Richard Burton, Laurence Olivier, Daniel Craig, Anthony Hopkins, and Jude Law all doing their bit for the cause.
