The star of many a war movie has had conflicts a lot closer to home than you might think.

Most recently, Tom's probation officers arrested him on drug charges soon after he was convicted of beating up his former girlfriend and Hollywood madam, Heidi Fleiss.

It is also alleged that Tom's 3-year marriage came to an end in 1999 with former wife Maeve Quinlan calling the police claiming she had received numerous injuries from her then-husband.

Added to this, the Heat star admitted he had a drug problem when his Mother and Robert De Niro turned up on his doorstep with a simple choice – rehab or jail.

Looks like Tom couldn't decide and went for both.
